Former NRL star Sam Burgess and fiancée Lucy Graham has taken their newborn baby Robbie out for her first day “in the big wide world”.
Burgess, 34, announced live on Sunrise on September 29 that he and Graham had become parents two days earlier.

“Big news, little baby Robbie arrived earlier this week, grand final week, we’re cheering,” he said in reference to the NRL grand final.
Now Graham has taken to Instagram to show a very content-looking baby nestled in her arms as she and Burgess enjoyed an al fresco lunch on a sunny day.
“Robbie’s first day out in the big wide world 🌎 💗” Graham’s three photos were captioned.
The first showed Robbie snuggling up with mum.

The second photo showed Graham looking pretty in a green patterned dress, with Burgess smiling and relaxed in a navy T-shirt and white pants.
The third photo was a close-up of Robbie looking like she was fast asleep.
Graham’s followers gushed at how fabulous she looked just days after giving birth.

“You look amazing Lucy!!!” one fan wrote.
“Congratulations!”
“Gorgeous baby and mama,” added another.
“Awww Lucy she is amazing! Also, howww do you look that good already 😂❤️❤️ xx” wondered a third.
“You look glowing,” noted another.
“Stop it you look incredible,” enthused one.
“Just perfect. You look amazing too. Congratulations to you and Sam,” said another.

Burgess is already a dad, having had two children with his ex-wife Phoebe — Poppy, six, and Billy, four.
After announcing on Sunrise the birth of daughter Robbie, he shared to Instagram a first look at his new baby.
Burgess posted a photo holding onto the newborn in the hospital corridor as Graham smiled beside them, resting a hand on her bub’s head.
“Heading home with my two beautiful girls @lcygrhm,” he wrote.
“Meet Robbie Burgess born 27.9.23.❤️Our hearts are extremely full ❤️.”
Speaking on Sunrise, Burgess said he was getting used to being on “limited sleep” again.
“It’s been great and both mum and bub are doing well, all very happy here,” he added.
Robbie weighed 3.8kg, according to the proud father.

Burgess and Graham announced their engagement in June after a Fiji getaway.
In a series of photos on Instagram, Graham showed off her diamond ring, smiling alongside Burgess.
In one image, she looked stunning in a brown bikini as Burgess took a selfie while sitting on the beach.
She rested her hand on Burgess’ shoulder — with her ring clearly visible.

The couple confirmed their pregnancy news in March 2023, after which Graham moved to Australia permanently from her home in the UK.
In May, she posted footage from her baby shower where she was presented with a unique — and rather graphic — dessert.
The cake was designed to represent a crowning baby’s head emerging from the womb.
In the video, Graham bites into the cake, which drops onto the floor, as her friends laugh in the background.

One photo shows Graham smiling and holding the cake on a plate before it met its eventual fate.
“Thank you so much to my amazing friends for organising the most wonderful last-minute baby shower/wedding 😜 I could have wished for,” she captioned the post.
“Thank you so much to everyone for coming at such short notice and making the little time we had so much fun.
“I love you all. There’s no place like home.”
